About Clean AF Life
Clean AF Life exists for people who care about what’s in their home — but don’t feel like going full detective every time they buy a candle, pan, or cleaning spray.
Because let’s be real — the internet is messy, labels are misleading, and half the “non-toxic” stuff out there is just greenwashed chaos with better branding.
So I do the digging for you.
Hi, I’m Lissa.
I’m also a cancer survivor, and that changed the way I look at everything I bring into my home — not because I think any one product is to blame, but because it made me want more control over the stuff I actually can control.
Clean AF Life started with one scratched-up Teflon pan and way too many hours spent reading ingredient labels I couldn’t pronounce. Once I found out what was actually in the stuff I used every day, I couldn’t un-know it — so I started digging into everything else: cookware, cleaning products, mattresses, pet stuff, all of it.
I’m not a doctor or a scientist. I’m just someone who got obsessed with figuring out what’s actually safe, and decided to put everything I learned in one place instead of keeping it to myself. If you’re brand new to any of this, my non-toxic living for beginners guide is the best place to start.
How I pick what makes the cut: Before anything gets recommended here, I check it against recalls, lawsuits, independent lab testing, and real ingredient documentation — not just what’s printed on the label. If a brand has a shady track record, I say so. If something’s genuinely good, I say that too. Nobody pays for placement on this list.
Clean AF Life is your shortcut to safer, smarter swaps for your home, your space, and your everyday life — including the four-legged members of the household. Non-toxic product swaps, honest recommendations, healthier home upgrades.
Just better options that actually make your home a healthier place to live.
Think of it as your curated corner of the internet where the chaos ends and the good stuff starts. One swap at a time. Let’s go.
Heads up: how this site makes money. Some links on Clean AF Life are affiliate links, meaning I may earn a small commission if you buy something — at no extra cost to you. It never changes what I recommend; if a product isn’t good, it doesn’t make the list regardless of commission. Full details in my Disclaimer & Safety Info. Brand or partnership inquiries?
